The garments on this page are authentic Japanese haori jackets for women and men.  Most were sewn in the period from 1940 to 1980 and are completely hand-stitched. These kimono jackets were made to fit Japanese figures and are no larger than a woman's size 12 or a man's size small.  The lengths vary between 26" and 36" from the base of the neck for the women's garments and between 39" and 42" for men's garments. Though these haori were lovingly handled, they are vintage, and may have small imperfections and spots. Any haori in perfect condition will have a notation as such.  Click on image for larger photo, price & detail of fabric.
