Haori I3321 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but in excellent condition for its age. Has just a few minor snags in the silk.
White silk jacket with salmon to red gradiated areas of shibori dyeing. The background is kanoko dyeing (fawn dot pattern) and there is a gorgeous border of floral patterns. The work is truly fabulous considering the skill it takes to dye in this manner.
The lining is a very nice blossom patterned silk.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar. Chest area is 48". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24". Perhaps would fit a size 8-10-12.
