Japanese Kimono Scarf S2454 - Celery Green Shibori Dyed

Shibori dyed silk is used in this unusual scarf with circular raised dots in pastel colors. Fabric has texture created by tied off sections which are dipped into the dye bath.
Pale green with orange, lilac and pink fawn dots (kanoko)
I used a serger to finish the short ends with an overlock stitch.
Measures 68" x 10" without stretching it. ONLY ONE LIKE THIS!

  • Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe.  The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
