Japanese Kimono Scarf S3146 - Indigo Striped Silk Tsumugi Kasuri
This is a beautiful fabric that has a lot of interest. Sewn from a vintage kimono panel.
If you like the quiet beauty of tsumugi silk this is a nice choice.
Silk tsumugi is a crisp, flat weave, cottony silk so I have pre-washed to soften it. The stripes are multi-colored and not just printed, they are resist dyed
Measures 67" x 7" wide.
Japanese Kimono Scarf S3146 - Indigo Striped Silk Tsumugi Kasuri
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
