Japanese Kimono Scarf S3825 - Colorful Silk Jacquard Stencil Dyed
Off white silk jacquard with a basket weave texture and beautifully dyed with a border of large hibiscus and chrysanthemum and shaded with red and blue
Areas are treated with gold metallic fabric paint for a special effect.
This fabric was taken from a vintage kimono panel. There is a former fold line from the kimono that is a bit dark for about a 3" section but it is mostly hidden by the colorful patterns.
Measures 67" x 6.75" wide.

Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
