Japanese Kimono Scarf S4279 - Soft Purple and White Peony and Plum
Absolutely stunning Japanese textile work at its finest
Ivory silk jacquard with a small wavy pattern in the weave and beautiful, large peonies in silver and pink
combined with large fan shapes. Highlighted with silver metallic fabric paint in places
I have 3 of these but the larger flowers may appear in a different location than the photo unless you buy this first one. Also, the largest peony cluster is situated upside down on the scarf (see photo 1.)
Measures 64 x 6.75" wide Sewn from a vintage kimono panel
There is a slight fold line running parallel to the side seam on one side of the scarf.
Japanese Kimono Scarf S4279 - Soft Purple and White Peony and Plum Silk
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
