Chirimen silk with a smooth texture and resist dyed with abstract curving lines in white
The garment has no tears or holes but the color has faded from a strong black to an off-black. In a few tiny places time has turned the fabric orange but these are pin dot sizes.
On the lower back edge the orange spotting is just a little bigger.
There is a more darker black spot of color on the back of the left sleeve.
You will have trouble even seeing these imperfections but I have an eagle eye for this!
The charm of this haori is that it has been embroidered with tiny little spirals of silver metallic threads (see photos 9 and 10).
Lined in a soft ivory silk with floral patterns in the jacquard weave.

Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30.5" from back of neck and 32.5" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25". Fits near size 12 - 14.
