Obiage Scarf I4348- Silk obiage from Japan originally worn under an obi but now used as a neck scarf.
Measures 64" x 11", narrows to 7" in the shibori dyed areas. Coral in color; each white spot has been
individually resist dyed. Short edges are pinked. This one was worn more often and shows some wear.
Kimono Scarf I4348
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
