Obiage Scarf I4459 - Lightweight silk obiage from Japan originally worn under an obi but now used as a
neck scarf. Measures 50" x 12", narrows to 5.5" in the shibori dyed areas. A very pretty seafoam color;
eachwhite spot has been individually resist dyed. Short edges are pinked.

Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
