Kimono Scarf S1866 - Green Tea Chirimen Silk Floral
Soft silk of chirimen silk with a little twist to the weave A pale green tea shade with pretty pink and lavender floral prints and the leaves of maple trees.
This was sewn from a vintage kimono garment and it has traces of the former seam folds (see last 2 photos). But they show up much more with a close camera view
than from a short distance. Still, I am putting it on clearance for that reason.
Measures 66" x 6.75" wide.
Kimono Scarf S1866 - Green Tea Chirimen Silk Floral
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
