Scarf S9412- oblong silk scarf with 3 distinct patterns, each dyed with lovely floral prints using stencils and a bit of an art nouveau look. The fabric is a gorgeous silk with a smooth touch. The patterns are separated with small bands. The colors range in shades of eggplant to purple. Measures 69" x 6.75"
Each pattern was numbered and the end print has part of the number "1" in the sewn area (my mistake). But you could flip the scarf over.
Kimono sales reps used these bolts to showcase their kimono patterns.
Kimono Scarf S9412
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
