Scarf S9421- oblong silk scarf with 3 distinct patterns, each dyed with lovely floral prints using stencils and a bit of an art nouveau look. The fabric is a gorgeous silk with a smooth touch. The patterns are separated with small bands. The colors range in shades of purple to eggplant to rust. Measures 65 " x 6"
With the stencil dye process, some excess dye appears on the off white bands between patterns (see last 2 photos).

Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
