Scarf S9559 - Shibori dyed silk jacquard scarf in cherry red with a slight sheen. The pattern is resist dyed so areas of cloth are tied off to immerse in the dye bath. Then those same areas are released to form patterns. These form a string of different colors lines; pink, mint and gold. The scarf has a wonderful bumpy texture. Measures 66" x 6" wide.

Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
