Haori KY24- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but in excellent condition for it's age.
Dressy black silk jacket with lacquered threads called urushi. These are threads that form large, shimmering spider mum patterns in blue, pink and silver.
Lined in ivory and pink silk jacquard which has oxidation from age. This causes a yellowing and spotting of the silk. It's most prominent right at the center back seam. Due to this I have reduced the price I would normally be asking for a special haori such as this.
One embroidered family crest adorns the upper back.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30.5" from back of neck and 32.5" including collar. Chest area is 46".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25.5". Fits about a size 12-14-16.
