Haori KB113 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Previously worn but exterior and interior are in excellent condition.
This lovely, soft jacket shows very little signs of wear and has no spots or tears.
The color combination is outstanding and eye-catching.
Silk treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist areas that formed black raspberry colored splotches against a mottled background.   
These areas are slightly raised and you can still see the needle marks from the process.
Lined in a soft off white and pink print silk in a pattern called shippou.  The two tiny dots you see are not stains but excess dye.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.   Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 29" from back of neck and 31" including collar.  Chest area is 46".  
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24.5".   Fits near size 10-12-14.
