Haori KY21 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition.
This jacket shows very little signs of wear and has no spots or tears.
Deep purple silk treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist areas which are rust colored and in the shape of fawn dots (kanoko). These areas are raised and nubby.
The purple areas are so dark that I thought they were black at first. It makes for a very nice contrast.

Lined in a soft off white and orange print silk.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 52" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 29.5" from back of neck and 31.5" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25". Fits near size 10-12-14.
