Haori KY22 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in excellent condition.
This jacket shows very little signs of wear and has no spots or tears.
The color combination is outstanding and reminds me of the Southwestern sky.
Silk treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist areas which are rust, periwinkle, light orange and white colored and in the shape of fawn dots (kanoko).
These areas are raised and nubby. Intersecting these are areas of larger patterns in white on a maroon/purplish base.
Lined in a soft off white and gold print silk with tiny ume (plum blossoms)
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is ". Fits near size 8-10-12.
