Kimono Jacket KY58 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan      May have been previously worn but the exterior and interior are in good condition.
Black silk crepe with a somewhat firm touch which has been resist dyed to create the outlines of large floral shapes.    I think this was a paste resist and the process blocks off the areas
to be dyed with color.    With age, some of the dye has overlapped the borders and made those outlines darker on the black side.   It does not show on every floral pattern.
Still, this is completely wearable and not evident from a distance.
Lined in a soft beige silk fabric which has a coral silk cord pattern.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.     Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 29" from back of neck and 31" including collar. Chest area is 46".   Haori jackets
do not wrap and are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25".     Fits near size 8-10-12.
