Scarf S148- kimono scarf sewn from Japanese silk which was once a part of a vintage kimono.
Because of its past life it has some fold lines across the width (photo 4) and a tiny area of missing dye where there was once a seam (last photo). Still beautiful. Measures 66" x 6.5" wide.
S148 - Marine Blue w Ribbons
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
