Vintage Black Silk Tomesode Kimono -  Unlined Vintage Japanese Kimono Robe H959
Hand stitched by kimono makers in Japan.   This is a women's robe and it is unlined and airy.   It's very soft and drapes well.   There are 3 family crests dyed in white.
The fabric is black silk with a ventilated weave for summer.  This makes it sheer and pretty sexy!
This is vintage so it has some fading of the black color.  A bit on the right front panel and along the bush clover border areas at bottom   There are a few tiny darker spots on the left chest area
Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip and 57" from back neck to the hem.
Chest is 46", hip is 46", sleeve length from shoulder seam to wrist is 12.25" and the drop from the shoulder to the bottom edge is 18.5".  
Kimono are very long because in Japan they take a horizontal tuck at the waist and wrap the fabric with the obi to keep it in place.   You can tie it closed with just about any sash you may have.
It will be easy to shorten since it has no lining and is straight across the bottom.
Properly wrapped this would fit about a size 10-12-14 but you could wear it overlapped more loosely or completely open over pants.
