Vintage Hand Dyed Silk Scarf: Japanese Kimono Obiage Tricolor H1847
This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi
I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This is light weight with lovely color gradation in 3 colors, salmon, green and gold.
In addition there are circlets in the weave with gold metallic threads in places.
The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked.
I believe this is an unused obiage.
