Vintage Japanese Blue-Grey Beaded Fabric Hand Bag H1073 Purse
vintage Japanese bag of silk fabric covered with seed and bugle beads.
This is a blue grey beaded clutch from Japan with wonderful stream pattern (photo 2) on the front and with a small design on the back (photo 4). The light makes the beads very shiny and silvery.
All the beads are present and intact. The silver colored metal rim at top and sides is cloudy from age in places. It looks gold in the photo but is silver tone.
Measures 7.75" in length across the front, 6" high and 1.5" wide. Lined in grey silk satin with 2 inside pockets.
The lining has wear but no tears or spots. The beaded handle has a 5.5" drop. All of the handle beads are there but there is a tiny gap in their placement so it may seem that one is missing but is not.
