Haori H724 - vintage silk kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan May have been previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition for its age.
Jacket is blue silk mixed with light blue or silver in a tiny pattern with a smooth hand and a special hand painted lining. This is a traditional jacket for a man but can be worn by all.
The exterior is all one fabric and in excellent condition.
On the reverse side the lining is a soft silvery green silk hand painted with a fearsome hawk over the waves. You can wear this one both sides.The exterior and interior look in great condition. Someone has cared for this. There is a light stain on the back right sleeve lining (last photo) resulting in a slight color change.
Features the traditional sleeve of a kimono. Measures 53" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 34" from back of neck and 36" including collar. Chest area is 48". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 26".
