Haori H636 - vintage silk blend kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan May have been previously worn but exterior and interior are in good condition still.
Off-black silk jacket with rustic look and a special hand dyed lining. This is a traditional jacket for a man but can be worn by all.
The exterior is a rougher silk blend with a slight iridescence. It is mostly fine but with a slight dark spot on the lower right sleeve front and lower left hip.
On the reverse side the upper lining and the lining for the sleeves is a soft black silk hand dyed with shibori kanoko (fawn dot) patterns and daruma. The lower lining is the same fabric
as the exterior. There are bleach marks at the center back (see last photo) and look closely at the first photo. There is another slight bleach mark on the bottom left front panel of
the lining side. You can wear this one both sides but those marks will be visible if worn reversed. I have priced accordingly.
Features the traditional sleeve of a kimono. Measures 52 1/4" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 40.5" from back of neck and 42.5" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 26".
