Haori KY95-  deep purple silk kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Previously worn and with some age related issues.
Wonderfully smooth and soft silk jacquard jacket with an underlying butterfly pattern, plus shibori dyeing in bamboo stalk and leaf patterns.    It's mid-weight and the lining is whisper soft.
This haori has some uneven dyeing on the dark purple areas and a rust spot INSIDE the front lower panel (last photo).   That won't show on the exterior.
The red silk jacquard lining has chrysanthemum patterns and a few streaks from age further inside the yoke.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 29.5" from back of neck and 31.5" including collar.  Chest area is 47".  Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open.
Hip area across the back is 25".   Fits near size 10-12-14.
