Haori H377 - shibori dyed silk kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in good condition for its age.
Soft silk jacket with an underlying jacquard weave called tatewaku, which resembles a spiral. There are vertical lines of shibori dye creating white and hot pink ribbons.
The lining is a soft pale gold silk jacquard which has become spotted with age. Also, at the lining neck there is a tiny bit of stress on the stitching and my iron spotted water (see
The exterior looks in great condition. Wear with a hot pink shell or short sleeve T for a fabulous look. I have priced accordingly.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 31" from back of neck and 33" including collar. Chest area is 44". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24.5". Fits near size 8-10-12.
