Haori H365 - rinzu silk kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in good condition for its age. This jacket is most likely 80 years old.
Soft silk jacquard jacket with dramatic designs which look to be resist dyed. The fuchsia background has a wonderful jacquard weave of fan and floral patterns. The white and grey areas
have buds and blossoms along with the pine images. Because of age some of the lighter areas have patina but none of it is that remarkable.
The lining is red silk with adorable Chinese babies and flowers. For its age this garment is in great condition.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 38" from back of neck and 40" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25". Fits near size 8-10-12. Haori from this era look especially nice on taller, thinner body types.
