Haori H634- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition.
Semi-sheer black silk with a ventilated weave, having tiny spaces between threads. This is very classy and soft.
It is unique in that the lining has been resist dyed with a large floral pattern. On the back of the jacket there is cut-work, which leaves larger spaces through which this floral design appears.
It's difficult to show in photos how pretty this is. There is a tiny, tiny white spot on the edge of the back left sleeve. The front right collar band is ever so slightly lighter black than the body,
which is probably a result of the dyeing process. The last photo shows the center back seam of the lining which has a tiny area where the white dye is blurry.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 54" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 29.5" from back of neck and 31.5" including collar. Chest area is 48". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24.5". Fits near size 10-12-14.
