Vintage Japanese Kimono - Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY652
- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Has been previously worn but the exterior is in excellent vintage condition. 
Black silk base has a jacquard weave that is slightly dappled.   The decorative areas have machine embroidered pink fans with flowers.  The fabric is also shibori dyed with small white "fawn dot" patterns in a sweep.   They appear on the left front panel and across the back.
Lined in a soft pink and white silk with the Buddhist symbol for peace and tranquility in the weave.  
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 31" from back of neck and 33" including collar.  Chest area is 48".  Haori jackets do not wrap and are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 25.5".   Fits near size 10-12-14.
