Vintage Japanese Kimono - Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY653
- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Has been previously worn but the exterior is in very good vintage condition. 
Smooth black silk base has a flat weave.   The decorative areas have machine embroidered chrysanthemum patterns in rust and gold metallic threads, a technique known as urushi.
The patterns adorn the left front panel, back of the right sleeve, and across the back.
Lined in a soft white silk jacquard with light discoloration at center back.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 52" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar.  Chest area is 49".  Haori jackets do not wrap and are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 25.5".   Fits near size 12-14.
