Vintage Japanese Kimono - Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY654
- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Has been previously worn but the exterior is in  good vintage condition. 
Smooth black silk base has a flat weave.   The decorative areas have machine embroidered royal cart and floral patterns in rust with sage green and gold metallic threads, a technique known as urushi.
The patterns adorn the left front panel and across the back.
There is slight smudge on the left front collar band, not much to notice.
Lined in a soft white silk jacquard with light discoloration at center back but more stains inside at the chest level.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 29.5" from back of neck and 31.5" including collar.  Chest area is 48".  Haori jackets do not wrap and are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 25.5".   Fits near size 12-14.
