Kimono Jacket KY226 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan May have been previously worn but the exterior and interior are in good condition.

Soft, black silk base decorated with 5" to 9" circlet and medallion patterns of flowers feathers, Japanese citrus, maple leaf and other traditional Japanese patterns.
The decorative threads are lacquered threads produced in a process known as urushi. Some threads are gold or silver and others are dark rust and dark green.
There is a resist dyed family crest at center back. This would look wonderful worn at the holidays.

Lined in a soft pink and white silk fabric which has some minor streaks and spots.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 49" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 31" from back of neck and 33" including collar. Chest area is 45". Haori jackets
do not wrap and are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24.5". Fits near size 8-10-12.
