Kimono Jacket KY42 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan      May have been previously worn but the exterior and interior are in good condition.
Soft, black silk base decorated with abstract floral patterns woven in rust and dark green lacquered threads in process known as urushi       These are metallic threads coated and woven into
various patterns.     
The jacket has been spot cleaned and in the process some of the black dye is discolored.  There is a small spot on the outer front right sleeve and a larger area on the back 
of the right sleeve (see photos 1 and 9).     Sleeves fold into the body when worn is these areas may not be very visible at that.  Still, I have priced this haori with these issues in mind.
Lined in a soft ivory silk fabric which has a white on white floral print. 
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.     Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar. Chest area is 46".   Haori jackets
do not wrap and are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24".     Fits near size 8-10-12.
