Kimono Jacket KY131 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan May have been previously worn but the exterior and interior are in very good condition.
Smooth black silk base has a flat weave. Then it is Yuzen dyed in a soft grey shade with a bit of white to create grape leaf patterns on the lower left front panel, left front sleeve,
and across the back and right sleeve back.
Lined in a soft silk fabric of pink with pretty white flowers. There are a few noticeable spots on the lining as shown in the photos. One is on the back left panel and one at center back near the collar band.
Up close you can see that the rest of the lining has tiny tea colored spots. Also, there is a tiny hole in the lining near the center back seam below the collar band (see last 2 photos).
It almost looks like someone pierced the fabric with a tagging gun to attach a tag. The exterior of the jacket seems fine in that area.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar. Chest area is 48". Haori jackets
do not wrap and are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25". Fits near size 10-12.
