Vintage Japanese Scalloped Frame Beaded Fabric Hand Bag H2227 Purse
Vintage Japanese bag of silk fabric covered with seed and bugle beads. 
This is a silvery green beaded bag from Japan with a flower bud pattern on front and back.   The light makes the beads very shiny and silvery.    Because the lining is dark green I think these beads are also silvery green but at times they look grey and even bluish.
All the beads are present and intact.  The metal rim has a scalloped shape and snaps closed on hinges.  
Measures 5" in length across the front widening to 9.5 at its widest point, 6.5" high and 1.5" wide.   Lined in green silk taffeta with 1 tiny inside pocket.   
The lining has wear but no tears or spots.   The beaded handle has a 5" drop.
