Vintage Japanese Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag H383A Purse - vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads which are silver and are arranged in a wavy brocade pattern.
The fabric is in excellent condition.    The metal on the back of the bag has a rusty spot (see last photo).   It's very small, about 1/32" and maybe could be covered with a little
bit of silver paint.  Also, it's really not visible unless you turn the bag on its side.
Measures  8.5" in length, 6" high and 2" wide.   Lined in pale gold taffeta fabric with two small inside pockets.   The lining is clean.
Has a metal chain with 6" drop.  The chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.    The metal chain is tarnished 
and could possibly be polished.
