Vintage Japanese Silk Brocade Fabric Bag H849A Purse - vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads which are dark gold, brass and copper tones.   The design on the front has butterfly, geometric and floral designs on the diagonal.
The center area is pleated into the rim.
The back of the bag is plainer with the dark gold fabric.    There is a faint line running diagonally across the upper back which isn't a scratch or a wrinkle.  It is very faint.
The outside fabric is very clean and fresh.  The inside of the bag is lined in gold taffeta with two small pockets.   One pocket has a stain on it seen from a certain angle.  There is a tiny spot on the bottom of
the lining also.
Measures  8.5" in length, 5.5" high and 2" wide.   
Has a metal chain with 6" drop.  The chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
