Vintage Japanese Silver Silk Brocade Fabric Bag H1159 Purse - vintage Japanese bag with silk brocade fabric. The fabric is silver metallic with cloud and stream patterns in the weave.
The silver rims and clasp are very shiny and without tarnish.
Measures 9.5" in length, 5.5" high and 2" wide. Lined in light gold silk taffeta fabric which is clean with 2 small interior pockets. The lining at the side hinges has just a hint of glue darkening (last photo).
Has a metal chain with 6.5" drop. The chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
