Japanese Bag H848A - vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The front has bold metallic threads and a floral area at center with small gold chrysanthemums and green leaves.
The back has plain gold threads and at the top there is an area where the bag rubbed up against another in shipment from Japan (photos 4,5).  This area is about 3/8" across and 1/2" from the top.
This pressure moved the threads around but didn't cut them.
Measures  8" in length, 6.5" high and 2" wide.   Lined in pale gold colored satin fabric which is clean but with a few tiny smudges and 3 small pockets.
Has self fabric handle with a 5.5" drop.   
Metal parts are gold colored and look fresh.
