The pattern looks to be chrysanthemum blossoms and they are very detailed.
Bugle beads alternate with seed beads 
The back and sides are all beaded.
The silver tone metal rims are sturdy and the top rim is ornate.
Measures 8" across the top widening to 9, 6" high and 1.5" wide.   Lined in ivory silk satin, with 1 pocket off the main compartment   The lining has yellowing from age.
The beaded strap has a 6" drop 
I can fit my Android phone inside with about 1" to spare on the length.
