Japanese Kimono Scarf S2168 - Orange and Black Arabesque Silk
Strongly patterned silk scarf from vintage kimono fabric
The dark areas are black but appear close to navy blue in one photo. I think this fabric dates to the 1950's.
Measures 62" x 6.25" wide, a bit shorter than other scarves I offer.
It was sewn from a vintage kimono panel.

Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
