Japanese Kimono Scarf S2389 - Black and Purple Hemp Leaf Silk Tsumugi Kasuri
This is a beautiful fabric that has a lot of interest.
Silk tsumugi is a crisp, flat weave silk so I have pre-washed the piece to soften it. The purple and green hemp leaf patterns and not just printed, they are resist dyed so each
thread is prepared before the loom is set to weave.
Measures 59" x 6.75" wide. This scarf is shorter as it was sewn from a vintage kimono panel.
