Japanese Kimono Scarf S3594 - Berry Mix Chirimen Silk
Here is my latest chirimen silk which has a twist to the fibers making the texture somewhat spongy.
Styled from a vintage kimono robe panel, and with a rich mix of wine, red and purple threads in a wild floral pattern. The scarf is actually darker than the photos because it has been overcast for days and I had to use a flash.
Measures 66" x 6.5" wide.
Japanese Kimono Scarf S3594 - Berry Mix Chirimen Silk
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
