Japanese Kimono Scarf S5990 - Steel Blue or Gray Shibori Dyed Tsumugi Silk
This is sewn from a beautiful fabric that has a lot of interest.
Silk tsumugi is a dry, flat weave silk so I have prewashed to soften. The color is a blue grey and white with the lighter areas dyed with the shibori (tie dye) method. This created soft variations of color that really brings attention.
The last photo shows a white dot that is the result of natural dye methods. There is only one on this scarf.
Measures 71" x 6.75" wide. I cut it a little longer to tie it well. Very special!
