Japanese Kimono Scarf S6129 - Orange and White Shibori Fawn Dot Patterned Silk

 - Soft orange silk jacquard with resist dyed dots of white which were tied off in a method known as shibori.

This creates a little raised area of contrasting color when the threads used for dyeing are then removed. This fabric was taken from a vintage kimono panel.
