Japanese Silk Kimono Scarf H1977 - Vintage Watermelon Pink Silk Shibori Dyed Obiage Scarf This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This one is light weight with gorgeous shibori dyed patterns in white. The last photos show the complexity of the shibori dye process; this one with alternating bands of design and tiny mint green puckers. The flatter areas show a lattice jacquard weave. The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked. Measures 54" x 11.5" wide (at full width), shorter than many scarves here
