The lower front left panel and the back are embellished with lacquered and metallic threads in a process called urushi. The shimmering threads are white, gold, copper, and blue.
The back of the neck has the family crest, or kamon, embroidered in white thread.

Lined in a soft colorful silk with orange, gold and ivory bands and flowers.

Measures 51" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 29" from back of neck and 31" including collar. Chest area is 49".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25.5". Fits near size 12 - 14.
