Haori BB3 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition.
This jacket shows minimal wear and has beautiful dye techniques.
Soft black silk jacquard treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist portions of the cloth which form geranium red diamond areas of fawn dot dyeing (kanoko).  These areas are raised and softly nubby.
There are also diamond shaped black areas with geranium red dotted patterns.
Lined in a soft riotous hand-painted silk jacquard in orange and navy with adorable plum blossom patterns.  There is one tiny spot on the inside lining of the left front (see last photo).
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar.  Chest area is 46".  
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24.5".   Fits near size 8-10-12.
