Silk Shibori Kimono Jacket - Black with Wave Patterns Haori KY1199
- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Probably previously worn but exterior and interior are in excellent condition.
This jacket shows very little signs of wear and has no spots or tears.
Silk treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist wave shaped areas which are white, orange/red, green and gold and in the shape of fawn dots (kanoko). 
These areas are raised and nubby. 
Lined in a pink and white print silk with parasol patterns (bangasa)
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.   Measures 49" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 28" from back of neck and 30" including collar.  Chest area is 46".  
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24.5".   Fits near size 8-10-12.
