I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This one is light weight with lovely color gradation and a v-shaped line of blue.
Also decorated with tiny areas of gold metallic paint
The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked.
This was sold to me as "unused".

Vintage Hand Dyed Silk Shibori Scarf: Japanese Kimono Obiage H1680
Kimono scarves are neck scarves sewn from bolts of Japanese kimono fabric, originally intended to be made into a kimono jacket or robe. The bolts of cloth are narrow, between 12-14", so they are a natural choice for scarf making.
